Restoration of the historic Monfort salt warehouse.

Scope

The project involved demanding conservation and restoration works on a protected cultural heritage building, with an emphasis on preserving the original structure.

The salt warehouse is an important part of the salt-making heritage of the Slovenian coast. Works were carried out in close cooperation with the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, with the aim of preserving the building as a witness to the history of the salt pans.
